Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program

Why Choose SINP?

For workers living overseas, two subcategories of the International Skilled Worker category should stand out. The Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand streams are a great option for those living outside Canada as they do not require any previous connection to the province of Saskatchewan, and do not require you to have a Canadian job offer to be invited.

Saskatchewan Express Entry: This stream requires applicants to have a profile created in the federal Express Entry system. As well, all applicants must have experience in one of Saskatchewan’s in-demand occupations. If successful, a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan will gain an applicant an additional 600 points for their CRS score.

Occupation In-Demand: To apply under this sub-category, an applicant must have work experience in one of Saskatchewan’s in-demand occupations. As well, applicants must have language proficiency equal to the Canadian Language Benchmark of Level 4 (CLB 4), and have completed a post-secondary program of at least one year in length. Notably, applicants in the occupation in-demand subcategory do not require an Express Entry profile.
